Word Play, pt. 2

“In יהודה (Yahuwdah) is יהוה (Yahweh) known:

his name is great in ישראל (Yisrael).”

      In part one of “Word Play”, I showed you how יהוה (Yahweh) is so eloquently known in יהודה (Yahuwdah). Let me break this down for you: Yahuwdah is spelled יהודה (YodHeWavDalethHe); Yahweh is spelled יהוה (YodHeWavHe); so basically what I am saying is, you can not spell nor pronounced ‘YAH’wudah without ‘YAH'weh; so therefore; “In יהודה is יהוה known.”

      Before I get started with break down of the Word Play in this verse, I want you to notice how it is punctuated….In Yahuwdah is Yahweh known:, the first half of this verse ended with a colon; so let us get an understanding of what a colon: COLON as it is explained in the WEBSTER’S NEW COLLEGIATE DICTIONARY, ©1981, page 219, definition 2; is “A PUNCTIATION MARK USED CHIEFLY TO DIRECT ATTENTION TO MATTER THAT FOLLOWS.”

      Ok, now that we know a colon is in plain English; lets see where it gets its origin: From the WEBSTER’S NEW WORLD DICTIONARY, ©2003, revised & updated paperback version, page 130; COLON derived from the Greek word kōlon meaning ‘verse part’. So now that we know that the ‘colon’ was chiefly used to direct my attention to a matter that follows this ‘verse part’. The matter that follows this verse part that my attention was directed to chiefly was the next part of this verse which states:

“……his name is great in ישראל.”

      Now I asked myself why was my attention chiefly directed to this verse part; then it hit me; I showed you how יהוה (Yahweh) is known in יהודה (Yahuwdah); now lets see how great is His name in ישראל. In the STRONG’S EXHAUSTIVE CONCORDANCE of the BIBLE, Hebrew Reference number 3478 spells Yisrael like so: YISRÂ’ÊL. Notice that it is spelled Y.I.S.R.Â.apostrophe.Ê.L. As we did with the colon; let us also gain an understanding of what an ‘APOSTROPHE’ is. APOSTROPHE from the Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, page 53; is characterized as “THE ADDRESSING OF A USUALLY ABSENT PERSON OR A USUALLY PERSONIFIED THING RHETORICALLY.” And Rhetoric the root word to Rhetorically, from the same source, definition 3 means ‘verbal communication’.

      Ok, now that we know that an apostrophe is used in ADDRESSING A ‘USUALLY ABSENT’ PERSON OR PERSONIFIED THING IN ‘VERBAL COMMUNICATION’. Is it just me that thinks that you usually need an “PRESENT PERSON’ to have VERBAL COMMUNICATION’? Again, Yisrael from Hebrew # 3478; is spelled Y.I.S.R.Â.’.Ê.L.; just keep that in the forefront of your mind as I continue on with the etymology/origin of ‘Apostrophe’. From the Webster’s New Collegiate Dictionary, page 53; is the Latin word apostrophē that stemmed from the Greek word apostrophein & is the “LITERAL ACT OF TURNING AWAY.” Turning away from what? should be your next question. Ok, now back to Hebrew # 3478, Yisrael, in the Strong’s is spelled Y.I.S.R.Â.’.Ê.L; it seems that the apostrophe is indicating that Yisrael turn away from all these deities that they worshipping & praying to: JEHOVAH, JESUS, BUDDHA, ALLAH, WIKKA, etc. Praise יהוה (Yahweh)!!! Praise יהוה בן יהוה (Yahweh Ben Yahweh)!!!

      We should know that in the Hebrew tongue that ‘Êl means god. According to the Strong’s Hebrew #410 which is a shorten form of #352; אר ‘êl meaning strength; mighty; espec. the Almighty (but used also of any deity):-God (god), goodly, great; idol. Here we see that in parenthesis it states: (but ‘used’ of ‘any’ deity)—but the true & living God יהוה—and later describes this deity as an ‘IDOL’. (Deuteronomy 5:7-9; Exodus 20:3-5). Praise יהוה (Yahweh)!!!

      ‘Êl from Strong’s Hebrew #352 is the Hebrew word איל ayîl & means strength; hence anything strong:—Awww, ‘HENCE ANYTHING’ strong. See this is why I titled this discourse ‘WORD PLAY’, HENCE from the Webster’s New World Dictionary, page 302, definition 1; hence means ‘FROM THIS PLACE’. We know that this deity is strong, has strength, & is Almighty; well we know that he’s not naturally strong or naturally has strength & is not Almighty. And we now know why this deity is usually absent, because he’s out getting strength from some place. At least we know it’s not יהוה, because יהוה is ALL IN ALL, SO ABOVE, SO BELOW, SELF-EXISTENCE, ETERNAL, OMNIPOTENT (ALL POWERFUL), OMNISCIENT (ALL KNOWING), & oh get this; יהוה is omniPRESENT, get it……‘PRESENT’; as in not absent! Praise יהוה בן יהוה (Yahweh Ben Yahweh)!!!

      Ok, time to see what this ‘Êl has the strength to do that makes him anything strong & Almighty. As according to the Strong’s Hebrew # 193; ‘Êl came from the of אול ‘uwl meaning “to twist”. Twist? ummmm?!? TWIST from the Webster’s New World Dictionary, page 697, definitions 5-7; is described as “TO CONTORT OR DISTORT; TO CONFUSE; TO PERVERT THE MEANING OF.” To contort, distort, confuse & pervert the meaning of; all of these are the attributes that makes this deity strong & Almighy. So all this deity has that makes it strong or makes him Almighty are ‘LIES’. LIE(1) in the AMERICAN HERITAGE DICTIONARY 4th edition, ©2001, paperback version, page 489, definitions 1 & 2; is defined as “TO BE OR PLACE ONESELF AT REST IN A FLAT, HORIZONTAL, OR RECUMBENT POSITION; TO BE OR REMAIN IN A SPECIFIED CONDITION”. LIE(2) of the same source as a verb, definition 2; is “TO CONVEY A FALSE IMAGE OR IMPRESSION.” Do any of these things sound like something יהוה will do; it sure doesn’t; but out of all things יהוה CAN DO, HE CAN’T LIE, IT’S IMPOSSIBLE(Hebrews 6:18)!!! Praise יהוה!!!

But there is someone who do not mind & will; (St. John 8:44):

“Ye are of your father the DEVIL, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not truth, because there is no truth in him. When speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”

      All this ‘Êl/deity wants to do is lie to you, convey false images to you, all he wants to do is contort, distort, confuse, & pervert the meaning of what’s righteous & holy, he wants to keep you in a flat, horizontal position; to remain in a specified condition—MENTAL, SPIRITUEL, & PHYSICAL DEATH!!! What type of ‘Êl will do that to his people? But this is what יהוה has done (Leviticus 26:1):

“I am the LORD יהוה your God, which brought

you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should

not be their bondmen: and I have broken the bands

of your yoke, and MADE YOU GO UPRIGHT.”

      Praise יהוה!!! Praise יהוה בן יהוה!!! יהוה said that He “MADE YOU GO UPRIGHT”; not flat & horizontal. יהוה said that He “BROUGHT YOU FORTH OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, THAT YE SHOULD NOT BE THEIR BONDMEN”; not remain MENTALLY, SPIRITUELLY, & PHYSICALLY DEAD!!! Praise יהוה!!!

      Furthermore, יהוה said “Blessed be that cometh in the name of the LORD יהוה (Psalm 118:26)”……Praise יהוה!!! Praise יהוה בן יהוה!!!

      Now with this new found information lets reread Psalms 76:1 in a new light:

“In יהודה is יהוה known:

his name is great in ישריה.”

In YAHwudah is YAHweh known:

his name is great in YisraYAH.”

      NOW HIS NAME IS TRULY GREAT IN YISRAYAH!!! PRAISE יהוה!!! PRAISE יהוה בן יהוה!!!

      ישריהו YisraYahuw yis-ra-yaw-hoo

               ישריה YisraYah yis-ra-yaw

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE יהוה!!!
